CloudStore was founded in 2021 with a simple belief: enterprise storage should be fast, secure, and transparent. We saw teams struggling with the complexity and hidden costs of legacy cloud providers, and we built a platform that puts developer experience and data sovereignty first.

Today, over 2,400 businesses trust CloudStore to store and serve their most critical data. From startups deploying their first S3-compatible bucket to Fortune 500 companies running petabyte-scale analytics pipelines, our platform adapts to every workload.

Security by Default

Company Timeline

2021

Founded in Amsterdam

CloudStore Platforms B.V. incorporated in the Netherlands. First prototype built on bare-metal NVMe servers in a colocation facility.

2022

Seed Round & Launch

Raised €2.4M from European VCs. Launched public beta with S3-compatible API and Frankfurt data center. First 100 customers onboarded.

2023

Amsterdam & Paris Expansion

Opened second and third data center regions. Achieved ISO 27001 certification. Crossed 500 enterprise customers.

2024

SOC 2 Type II & Series A

Completed SOC 2 Type II audit. Raised €12M Series A. Launched Desktop App, CLI tools, and Terraform provider.

2025

2,000 Customers & HIPAA Readiness

Crossed 2,000 enterprise accounts. Completed HIPAA readiness assessment. Launched zero-knowledge encryption with customer-managed keys.

2026

Global CDN & Enterprise Tier

Expanded CDN to 40+ edge locations. Launched Enterprise tier with dedicated hardware and custom SLAs. 12 PB under management.
